Alignment Curriculum

Welcome to the course portion of the ultimate soft-skills training program. Our program is designed for maximum development of the target skills and proficiencies. Therefore, our courses progress from building the most fundamental skills to those that enhance the highest levels of insights and enable you to live in full alignment with your innate potential and in pure bliss.

For our corporate clients, when you have each member of your talent force fully super-charged and focused… Can you imagine?

The value of soft skills development at the level we are offering here at The Alignment Portal is, we assure you, as yet unmeasured. No company has achieved this level of alignment within their personnel, so no measurement of this level of alignment has yet been possible. Let’s make some history here, folks!

Please remember that this program is designed by well-experienced doctoral educators. We are building proficiencies step-by-step. You can trust our process.

Method

Each short lesson covers one single point. Why? Because, if you read an article with 20 points in it, how many of those points are you going to remember? Maybe 1 or 2, or maybe none, right? But if you get one insightful thought for the day, how many will you remember? Hopefully, though not always, just the one. If you can contemplate one thing that will make your life better, every day, guess what? Your life will get better! 

Please do not rush this process. It will be tempting to get through several videos in one sitting because they are so short. This is exactly what we do NOT want you to do. The videos are short for a reason–so you can watch one a day without it intruding heavily on your life. They have one point per video for a reason–so you can focus on that point and only that point, and hopefully contemplate that one point periodically throughout the day. This way, it sinks in.

That said, it is possible to take two courses simultaneously and do one lesson per course per day. This will give you two very different things to think about throughout the day. It’s not recommended because it gets to feeling like pressure at that point, but if you insist.

Assessment

Our courses do not have quizzes or tests. We are interested in your ability to apply these concepts to your daily life, not regurgitate what you just heard. So, every lesson has a short task. These tasks are critical for you to get the most from the course so please do them. Most will take under 60 seconds and ask you to merely think about something for the moment and, ideally, for the day. If you feel the need to study something more than once, feel free to listen to the lesson again, of course. Let us know if you still have questions. We do have monthly assessments so you can witness–and celebrate!–your progress. We have a personal assessment for each individual’s own information, and our corporate subscribers also receive a monthly assessment because, you know, visible progress on paper justifies the expenditure. The shifts will be obvious though–your corporate decision-makers will know the program is working as they walk through their halls and participate in their meetings. In time, work product will be visibly improved. Results are palpable, and quick. But we offer the assessment anyway, in case anyone needs the paper proof.

Course Order

Courses are meant to be taken in order because they build upon each other. If you would like a different order, please contact us to discuss. We will happily accommodate if it makes sense to do so.

It’s fine to repeat the program. These insights are very rich. When you return to them again later, you will understand them differently. Also, some things just don’t really stick the first time through. Give them another go and you will get much more out of them. Also, as a practical matter, there is a ton of information stored in these lessons. You’re going to forget some of this. Honestly, you can take these courses again and again, and learn something every time. You may repeat courses of any level at any time.

Emotional Intelligence

Our level of emotional intelligence (EI or EQ) may be more important than IQ when it comes to our work performance. Emotional intelligence is learning to be responsible with our emotions and their expression.

Proudly, our course dives much more deeply into this topic than other EI courses do. Along with a rich discussion of latest observations in EI and EI for leadership, we’ve added emotional management (governed by perception, which we can control) and emotional frequencies. We’ve also added a full section (14 lessons) on anger.

This very robust course will help you a lot. It will help you understand emotions, where they come from, and what you can do about them in yourself and others. It will especially help you with better understanding anger.

When you want your communications to be clear, you need to pay attention to how you are presenting your information and keep in mind the cognitive load capacity of your audience members.

Cognitive load management is why we organize our presentations into 3 main points rather than presenting all 20 points as equally important, even though they actually are equally important. It’s why we use shorter sentences and simpler vocabulary. The point is to not overwhelm the audience.

Trauma

This course does not substitute for mental health treatments. It merely discusses trauma so we can develop a better understanding of it since it is, after all, absolutely everywhere and affects us all. Course also offers some insights for healing.

The study of chakras and the chakra system dates back at least 5,000 years. The words used to talk about these principles are in a language no longer even spoken–Sanskrit.
